The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) sponsors numerous hunter-jumper, dressage, reigning, and mounted shooting shows across the country each year. English and Western riders come together to celebrate the Quarter Horseβs incredible versatility through a series of competitions in which riders can qualify for regional, national, and international championships. Through these shows and additional educational programs, the AQHA seeks to preserve and record American Quarter Horse bloodlines for future generations.
Pennsylvania-based trainer Lindsay Langan has proven just how far the American Quarter Horse can go with proper training and care. Her own GSF Worth the Wait is an eleven-year-old bay gelding competing at hunter-jumper shows along the east coast. βPetey,β as he is called around the barn, recently qualified for the 2019 AQHA World Championships, which is to be held in Oklahoma City this November.
HorseScents is proud to support Lindsay and Petey on their World Championship journey. Lindsay is excited to be competing her puppy-loving, always-dependable Quarter Horse later this year, and we couldnβt be more excited for her!
