Ten-year-old Danish Warmblood “Romulus” has been enjoying warm weather and stiff competition in Wellington, Florida as he prepares for the spring season. Although Romulus was previously trained and competed by Grand Prix dressage rider Benjamin Albright, young rider Tori Belles took over the reins less than 4 months ago. This pair currently competes in the FEI Junior division with aspirations for more in the future.
Since the Global Dressage Festival is right down the road from their winter training facility, Romulus and Tori have been able to put in a few good tests early in the competition season. They will undoubtedly enter at A in tip-top shape when they return to home base in Bethel, Pennsylvania later this spring.
HorseScents is proud to support talented riders like Tori and elite horses like Romulus with specialized lavender aromatherapy products. We recently engineered a wider Scent Strap with black leather to fit Romulus’s dressage bridle. Suzi Reggio-Belles, Tori’s mother and trainer, said that Romulus went “right to work” in spite of “very windy” weather and “palms falling” the first day he tried a Scent Strap. In the dressage ring and over jumps, at home and at shows, HorseScents helps all breeds perform at their best.
